Fun Halloween Games for Kids

Dare to enter? Lots of fun inside!

If you’re giving a Halloween party plan some Halloween games for children.

Halloween games for kids don’t need to be scary. Races are great Halloween activities for the smallest guests… kids have lots of energy and will have lots of fun running!

Scarecrow

Make up teams. Each team has to choose one person to be the scarecrow. Each team will have a bag of old clothes (shirt, overalls, gloves, oversized boots or shoes, hat, etc). As a relay, contestants take turns to reach into the bag and choose one item. The contestant then puts it on the scarecrow being decorated. As soon as the scarecrow has the article of clothing completely on, that person runs back to tag the next person to grab in the bag and decorate the scarecrow. The first team to have all the articles of clothing on the scarecrow is the winner.

Worms in a Pie

You’ll need some pie tins (1 for each contestant), gummy worms, and cool whip. Put the same amount of worms in each pie tin (say 10) and cover with cool whip. Blindfold each contestant. At the word of “Go!” all players dip into the pie with their mouths, trying to pull out as many worms as they can. The person to get first all the worms in their pie wins. This game can get messy, but it’s fun for those playing and for those watching!

Other fun Halloween party ideas are beating the pinata and telling ghost stories. Also, making crafts is an exciting Halloween activity that will keep kids entertained for long.
